An indigenous White Squirrel keeping an eye on us.

Vernon FL (if you havent seen the documentary, you need to, it will explain everything)

Go to "Dee's" ask for the fried pickles.

Just outside Vernon. A tiny mound of dirt/sand that was eroded by rain to look like micro mountains.

New Orleans

Having some fun with black and white...

French Quarters. New Orleans

Some incredible paintings for sale.

Found these dogs of an unknown breed posting up right in the entrance of a store.  They didnt move a muscle the whole time. Kind of startled us. Looked like something out of Stanley Kubric movie.

After being faced with hundreds of restaurant options, we wandered into "Desire" for tasty fried food. In all honesty, I could of sat down to a massive bowl of their Gumbo.

The Gumbo. Could of ate this until I passed out. Seriously.

Rachel ordered an Oyster Rockefeller po' boy with sweet potato fries.

I ordered the fried Catfish, shrimp, oyster, prawns, hushpuppies...and a loaded baked potato.

This was on a door in the French Quarters. New Orleans. Any guesses as to what it is? A really intricate hub-cap?

I turn around and find this kid kicking it on the sidewalk. Come to find out his mom was to his left, just out of the shot. Just struck me weird at the time.

An old US mint. French Quarters. New Orleans

Leaving Tejas on I90

New Years in Port Lavaca TX!  We checked in on some great friends living on the gulf coast of Texas. Thanks Austin and Becca! It was good to see that your family is doing well. :)

A cop was nun-to-happy that a van had pulled over to take pictures of this refinery.  After some ultra paranoid questioning and a quick 'flashlight from the outside of the van' search, she oked it.

This is just after entering Louisiana, and looking back on Texas
